After the full-on focus of last week’s Small Business Marketing Intensive, this week is catch-up time for us all at the Centre.

With this in mind, one thing I should have mentioned earlier is the impact that newest recruit, Bionic Woman Nina Carrozzo (pic on the left) is having on the place.

Not only is Nina our resident bookkeeper and BAS-boffin, she also uses skills picked up as a senior financial analyst with Qantas to analyse business processes and map them for greater efficiency and IP capture.

Her project and event management skills are also helping us manage the delivery of our client projects and outsourced marketing services.

And when it comes to marketing services, none is more important than the work we do to help make you found first in your category online.

Move over SEO – are you ready for FRR??

Why successful online marketing is about being FRR.

For most small business owners the reality is that if you’re not online, you’ll soon be invisible. In this context, being found first in your category online, is crucial.

But if this is what the modern business owner needs to achieve, how exactly do you do it?

Many people tout the idea that search engine optimization – SEO – is the magic cure, with maybe a dose of PPC (pay-per-click advertising) thrown in. However, to many small business owners, SEO and PPC still sound more like a new bank or global peace organization.

They’re also only part of the answer.

The simple fact is, that while a host of things do drive your visibility online there are a couple of things that have much, much more weight than anything else.

That’s why the measure we use is FRR – being findable, relevant and remarkable.

Sure SEO has a place, but if you want to be found first in your category online, then content really is king. It simply is the key to being findable, relevant and remarkable.

Today we’ve released a new white paper that helps small business owners with the following:
  • We explain the key drivers of search engine rankings
  • We outline the shortfalls of many pure-SEO agencies
  • We reveal the key strategies you can use to succeed
  • Plus, we enable you to check your readiness for being found first in your category online with the simple FRR scoresheet.
Now, are you ready to be FRR and be found first in your category online?

If you are, download our free FRR white paper here.

Quick favour - please help us help you!

Last week we mentioned that our forthcoming Financial Management Essentials online workshop is designed to make managing the $$$$ super-simple. We’ve created it because no matter what business you're in, if you're trying to build one that has value to others, then one essential characteristic is that the revenue stream is stable, profitable (and preferably) growing.

We're finalising the course content as we speak, but we're keen to make sure it delivers. If you'd help us out by answering these 6 short questions we'd be very grateful - and will even send you thank you voucher for the workshop when it's on.

The survey won't take more than 5 minutes to complete - you can do it by clicking the link here.
